Iona is a self-trained athlete and dancer bringing a breadth of knowledge from fitness, arts and rehabilitation. Build a foundation of core, strength and flexibility safely using a variety of methods from matwork, bodyweight, resistance bands, calisthenics and weights.
BOXING PADWORK
Get fit and have fun with boxing padwork. Simple punching drills and footwork to increase cardiovascular fitness whilst improving coordination and confidence.
As well as regular training Iona uses padwork as a fundamental part of Neuro-Rehab whether Stroke, Acquired brain injury, Parkinsons, partial paralysis.
FOOD DIARY ANALYSIS
Book a Food Diary session to truly understand how to fuel your body whether at rest, in recovery or to support your training programme.
Iona shares how to analyse your own food intake, reduce body fat and enhance muscle tone. You can take this information with you into the future and use again and again rather than following a meal plan without understanding why.

WEIGHT TRAINING
Weight training is key to everything! Iona was one of the first women to join Muscleworks Stokey, keen to try out after learning how critical it was for stroke and brain injury rehab.
Lifting heavy weights can significantly increase muscle strength, improve bone density, and boost metabolism, which helps in burning calories even after workouts. It also enhances overall physical performance and reduces the risk of injuries as you age.

Stretching plans are personalised to clients' background and abilities: enhance mobility, aid muscle recovery and prevent injuries. Often overlooked, it's essential to counterpart your training. With Iona's dance expertise, you'll experience a comprehensive stretching program to maintain muscle flexibility.
